Meet Baby #10 MOLLY
born July 20, 2013 at 11:56 a.m.
6 lbs, 0 oz. 22 in.
Molly has been adopted and now lives in Alabama, USA.
All Heartstrings Nursery
babies are one-of-a-kind, so there is only one "Molly".
Darling Molly has the most captivating eyes!
Molly was lovingly brought to life by reborn artist Bette Lambert,
from Pat Moulton's "Kendal" sculpt. Multiple layers of Genesis Heat Set Paint
were hand-applied, and each layer was baked to ensure that her baby skin will
retain its beautiful detail forever. Subtle veins, mottled newborn skin,
blushing, and tiny capillaries were painstakingly applied
to create the look of a real baby.
Her silky soft auburn mohair was
micro-rooted by hand,
one or two strands at a time, with a fine gauge
sealed from inside with waterproof glue, then cut and styled.
Molly's big blue eyes have ultra realistic detail. Her long red lashes were
hand-applied, and her three-dimensional eyebrows were carefully
on with a superfine brush. Molly's
limbs, head, and jointed doe suede body are weighted with
beads and filled with silky soft 100% premium polyester fiberfill
baby powder wafers, to give her the look,
feel, and sweet smell of a newborn.
Moist-looking lips, a hint of baby tears, and
tiny manicured fingernails
and toenails add to the realism of this
little girl. Her nose has been opened,
shaded, and backed with purple
felt, to give the appearance of "breathing".
She has a magnet behind her mouth so she can take a modified magnetic pacifier.
Molly also comes with a detachable tummy plate that was painted with
with the same care and attention to detail.
Like all Heartstrings Nursery babies, Molly will come home with
birth certificate signed by the artist, an ID bracelet,
a beautiful layette, and her favorite stuffed animal.
Molly's Layette includes:
2 Outfits chosen Especially for Her
Socks and Booties
White Gerber Onesie
Plush Baby Blanket
ID Bracelet ...and a few extras!
Molly is looking forward to meeting her forever mommy!
